Von J. Schafer
Chief Executive Officer
Von has a wealth of experience in both the Renewable Energy and Waste & Recycling industries. Von started in the Renewable industry over 10 years ago, working for Tesla and helping launch Smartflower Solar to the Western Hemisphere. Von also previously served as a Senior Manager at Veolia Environmental Services, the world’s largest environmental service company. Von holds an MBA from the University of Michigan (Organizational Leadership) and a B.S. from Grand Valley State University (Political Science).
Benjamin Maynard
Chief Technical Officer
Over the course of a thirty year career, Ben has led digital transformation for businesses spanning technical startups to large governmental enterprises. As CTO of Solar Site Dumpsters & Recycling, Ben leads innovative technology solutions that simplify interaction with our waste solutions so that our clients can focus on their bottom lines. Ben is retired from the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve and holds an M.S. in Technology Leadership from Brown University.
Eli Maynard
Chief Marketing Officer
Eli Maynard is the Chief Marketing Officer at Solar Site Dumpsters & Recycling and a current Virginia Tech student. Eli balances leadership duties as the Virginia Tech cheer captain while pursuing a degree in Public Relations and Digital Marketing Strategy with plans for a master’s degree. He brings energy, leadership, and a passion for sustainability to our team.
